On Five Parameter Beta Lomax Distribution

Abstract

Lomax (1954) developed Lomax Distribution (Pareto Type – II). In this paper, we have developed a new five parameter Beta Lomax Distribution from a three parameter Lomax Distribution. We have developed expressions for the rth moment; Skewness and Kurtosis of three parameters Lomax, and five parameters Beta Lomax Distribution. At the end, the Maximum Likelihood Estimators (MLE) of the parameters have also been obtained.
